Mourningrise.
I imagine your breathing
against my skin
when all I have
are dreams to hold
in the candle lit din
Electrical impulses
that fire in fingertips
as I lie awake at night
searching for your lips
Softness, you bring
when there’s nothing else
your voice is kept inside
my chest
where I become my self
Aches and pains
that I grow into
I know you feel them
as I belong to you.Posted on December 1, 2011 via All beauty must die with 158 notes

10%
I don’t know what people expect from life, but when you step back and actually breathe, you realize that it is entirely impossible to grasp every aspect going on in your life. Did you know, we only use 10% of our brain at a time?! um, hello! That’s 90% is going out the window! We as humans are so fragile, we cant even use more than 10% of our own minds. Even while doing just the simplest of tasks. No wonder we need God.

It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends.

As crazy as it sounds, I like knowing that Chloe depends on me. Gives me purpose. :)

Sometimes, I wanna act immature..
What the hell am I even suppose to do with life?! It’s not like there’s a sticky note on my door and a map saying, “Here, this is the direction you should go in.” I mean come on. Don’t you ever have those moments where you wish you could freeze frame a part your life, step back, look at it and say, “This is not my life.”? …mhmm, me too. All the time. 81 hours of art credit to get accepted into college?! Well I’ve got 17 years of talent to let them know that I’m an artist. If you haven’t seen my sketchbook lately, that’s because it’s with me everywhere I go. I AM CONSTANTLY CREATING. and yet they still require an absurd amount of hours?! SHUT UP. Accept me, college, and you will see how amazing that decision is. Pablo Picaso once said that being an artist while still a child is easy, the real challenge is being an artist once he or she grows up. I am destined to be immature for life. Not in a literal sense, but artistically, yes. Art is impossible unless you can imagine having super powers, or believing you can fly, or dream every single day. Sometimes, you need someone to hold you and sometimes you need to cry, and laughing is just about the greatest thing on earth. Why would I want to be a business proned nimwhit, with only one sense of direction - become a successful, wealthy adult. NO. Growing up means nothing to me, except for getting taller. I carry my artistic little kid self who yearns to live life with me everywhere I go. So yeah, sometimes, I wanna act immature.

Its the little things that mean the most. Like someone to hold you when you’re sad, an “I miss you” when you’re apart, or even a period mix to say “I can’t imagine what you’re going through cause I’m a guy, but I’ll always love you.” :)
